I'm really getting sick of my Mods disappearing, not getting downloaded, or anyhting of tht. Is there any way to force download these things? Reinstaling Steam does nothing. From what I've read of other people with this issue, it's supposedly a steam client problem. And I did all the usual things: deleted the cache and moduserdata folders, civ 6 not downloading mods, validated the steam files, etc.
All the mods are still in the mod folder, the game just suddenly stopped recognizing them. I have no clue what mods where on at the time to redownload.
WTF is going on and why did the change the old way to download mods? This has become beyond ridiculous. Every few weeks there is this same type of problem with the mods. Aside from the fact that it shouldn't be neccesary to constantly patch a game that has been released this long, you would think that eventually they would figure out how to do it without screwing everything up once again. I certainly won't bother with the next Civ release if it's going to be a continuation of this farce as it makes the game more of an exercise in aggravation rather than enjoyment.

Has the location the mods are supposed to be stored changed? I find it ridiculous. Vets will remember when mods were hosted by 2K. Those never deleted and still exist and are in perfect working order with minor compatibility tweaks. I got frustrated and walked away. I left my mod screen up and a while later the mods eventually began to download. I think you need to have a lot of patiens, which I do not have for a product I have paid way too much for to be inconvienencing me like this.
Tasi View Profile View Posts. After the last fiasco with all mods being wiped out. I had to slowly resub to each one. One thing I noticed is that the more mods I have, the longer they take to download on the mods page, sometimes close to 5 mins after I resubbed then did they download civ 6 not downloading mods the mods page. I don't know if this is why they don't show up for you, but maybe try running civ and staying on the mods page while resubbing to one mod at a time until it downloads.
